The Beethoven Society is a dedicated group of visionary philanthropists who believe in music’s ability to lift the human spirit and improve our community.
These leaders support the San Diego Symphony Orchestra, the largest performing arts organization in the area, and help produce great concerts of classical, jazz, Broadway, Latin and popular music. Through their support, the San Diego Symphony touches lives far beyond the doors of the concert hall with Education and Community Engagement programs that reach every neighborhood in the region. Through multi-year commitments starting at $50,000 a year, the investment of our Beethoven Society members are the foundation of these programs. Together, our members and the San Diego Symphony serve as an integral part of the cultural fabric of the San Diego community.

Membership Benefits
Beethoven Society membership begins with a four-year commitment of $50,000 or more annually.
When you become a Beethoven Society member, you join an extraordinary family of supporters. We express our gratitude by providing you with experience that deepen your connection with the music and the San Diego Symphony.
INVITATION TO ONSTAGE EXPERIENCE
You will be invited to attend the annual Partner with a Player onstage side-by-side experience and dinner.
Concerts and series sponsorships
In recognition of your support, you will be named the sponsor of a concert or series of your choice. You will receive invitations to rehearsals; meet guest artists; receive tickets; greet performers backstage; and when available, spend time with artists over lunch, coffee, or dinner.
Symphony travel program
Travel with CEO Martha Gilmer and fellow Beethoven Society members to hear the finest symphony orchestras in the United States and around the world.
Education and community programs sponsorship
If you prefer, you may sponsor educational or community programs. You will be invited to special children’s concerts in schools or in the concert hall and meet people whose lives were uplifted by your gift.
Special events and exclusive opportunities
Attend members’ only pre- and post-concert receptions and dinners, behind-the scenes tours, and rehearsals. Receive advance announcements and attend a private annual lunch with CEO Martha Gilmer.

When you “partner” with a musician, you become personally connected with the orchestra and gain an intimate perspective of what it is like to be a musician within this extraordinary group of performers.
Partners are invited to the most highly anticipated event of the year, the annual Partner with a Player onstage side-by-side experience and dinner. As a Partner, you will have a unique opportunity to develop a personal relationship with a musician and engage with the San Diego Symphony in meaningful ways. When you become a Partner with a Player, you join the San Diego Symphony’s family of supporters and have the opportunity to create a meaningful connection with a musician and the orchestra.
